They have engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Development Manager. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide general supervision managing and leading a team of software engineers.
2. Contribute significantly to UI and Design of new features.
3. Help set standards and practices for coding, code review, branching & merging.
4. Improve and develop team processes and be responsible for Performance Management of team members.

Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience as Team Manager.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Nice to have programming experience in past with Java/C/C++/.NET.
4. Experience with virtualization technologies, VMware vCenter, and ESX servers preferred but not mandatory.
5. Strong people management background.
6. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodology and practices.
7. Experience with Enterprise Systems Management Solutions.
