Job summary

Broccolini Construction Inc. seeks a Development Coordinator to support industrial, commercial and institutional development projects from due diligence through construction. You will manage coordination and documentation, liaise between internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders, and ensure timely deliverables.

Travel to project sites, including out-of-province locations, is required. The role demands strong organization, proactive problem solving and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture or Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in real estate development or construction coordination.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Strong written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

Support due diligence and design coordination with RFPs, trackers and documentation.
Assemble tender packages and manage project documentation in the data environment.
Track RFIs, change orders and invoicing documentation.
Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and action items.

We are currently looking for a Development Coordinator (Real Estate - ICI) who will support the execution of industrial, commercial, and institutional development projects from due diligence through construction and delivery.

The role is responsible for managing the coordination and documentation layer of active files, ensuring project information, follow-ups, and deliverables are organized, tracked, and executed in a structured and timely manner. The Development Coordinator also acts as a liaison between internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to support seamless project execution.

What you will do as aDevelopment Coordinator:

Due Diligence & Design Coordination

Support the issuance and coordination of design RFPs
Track and document client design criteria, consultant deliverables, and due diligence items
Maintain and update project trackers; follow up on outstanding items
Coordinate distribution and organization of drawings, reports, agreements (APS/PSA), and key documentation
Provide administrative support related to land and deal sourcing

Document & Change Management

Assemble and coordinate tender documentation packages
Manage project documentation within Broccolini’s common data environment
Track RFIs and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up
Maintain organized project file structures and ensure version control integrity

Legal & Financial Coordination

Track change documentation and relevant project correspondence
Assist in compiling documentation required for insurance and cost consultant reviews
Support preparation of invoicing packages, proforma inputs, and pricing documentation

Project & Site Coordination

Participate in design and coordination meetings
Travel to project sites, including out-of-province locations, as required
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items
Support tracking of schedules, milestones, and deficiencies
Gain exposure to all phases of the development lifecycle while supporting senior development leadership

Qualifications & Experience

1–3 years of experience in real estate development, construction, or a related coordination role
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
Strong interest in Real Estate development
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem solver who asks questions and seeks solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings (asset)
