An established industry player is seeking a part-time Philanthropy Development Coordinator to support their behavioral health initiatives. Schedule is part-time, Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day, flexible.
The Philanthropy Development Coordinator supports MaineHealth Behavioral Health's philanthropic efforts and is an integral member of the behavioral health philanthropy team.
This position serves as the office manager, coordinating all office expenses and operations, and interacts directly with Finance, Communications, and other MaineHealth Behavioral Health departments and staff. The Development Coordinator manages department correspondence and communications, including phone and email contact with donors, volunteers, and supporters. The role provides input and support for philanthropic activities such as major gifts, annual giving, special events, volunteer management, and other initiatives. Additionally, the coordinator helps solicit and coordinate in-kind donations, compiles information for grant proposals and reports, and supports fundraising and outreach efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
