Job summary

The Canadian Opera Company is seeking a Development Coordinator, Events & Stewardship to support signature fundraising events, donor stewardship, and corporate development. Based in Toronto with a hybrid schedule, you will help coordinate Centre Stage Gala, Operanation, and the Fine Wine Auction while ensuring exceptional donor experience.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in event coordination, a bachelor’s degree (fundraising or customer service asset), and proficiency with spreadsheets, mail

Qualifications

• 2–3 years as an event coordinator or similar.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; fundraising or customer service experience asset.
• Strong with spreadsheets, mail merges and databases; Tessitura experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support signature fundraising events (Centre Stage Gala, Operanation, Fine Wine Auction).
• Donor stewardship and corporate development support.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure event success and fundraising targets.
