Based in Toronto, ON, the Development Coordinator will report to the Director or Manager, Development and will work extensively with members of QuadReal’s Eastern Canadian development team, with projects in Ontario. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of all aspects of the development program across mixed-use, residential development program. The opportunities to grow into other asset classes of high conviction with the Development east team will be available over time. The Development Coordinator will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to organize, read drawings, prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment towards appropriately bringing various tasks to completion.
Experience
Minimum of 3 consecutive years of project coordination experience within a development or construction company.
Education
Post-secondary undergraduate degree in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge
Strong understanding of the real estate development and construction process in Ontario, including entitlements such as Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plan Approvals, and Permits. Experience with mixed-use and residential projects in the Greater Toronto Area is preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Other Requirements
Valid G Driver’s License required.
