Development Coordinator

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support a diverse portfolio of real estate development projects. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this role plays a key part in coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication across internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and passionate about contributing to the success of real estate initiatives.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, track key milestones, and maintain calendars
  • Organize and manage digital and physical project documentation, ensuring a paperless workflow
  • Attend public and ownership meetings, record minutes, and summarize key discussions
  • Collaborate with legal, asset management, design, and leasing teams to support project execution
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Assist with municipal approvals, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and due diligence for new developments
  • Prepare development reports, track budgets, and support tenant prospecting efforts
  • Coordinate site planning, closing documentation, and entitlement processes
  • Contribute to financial modeling, partnership agreements, and marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with external consultants and represent the company at public and industry events
  • Review and summarize information from site plans, ESA reports, servicing agreements, and land titles
  • Use SPIN to pull and analyze land title data
  • Support creative initiatives such as community programming and bylaw interpretation
Your strengths include :
