A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a Development Associate to implement development strategies and manage donor relationships. The associate will support fundraising campaigns and events while maintaining accurate donor records. Ideal candidates will have experience in the nonprofit sector and possess strong communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. This position offers an hourly pay range of CAD 19 to CAD 22, depending on experience, along with professional development opportunities.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Development Associate will support the implementation of successful short- and long-term development strategies through donor/alumni database management, gift acknowledgments, and campaign reporting. The Development Associate should enjoy improving systems, maintaining consistent processes, preparing personal donor correspondence, and conducting research. This position will support diverse activities to implement the development plan, including an annual fund campaign, 1-2 small special events, and a peer-to-peer giving campaign. Additional executive support duties, including board meeting preparations, travel arrangements, and document management, will be assigned as schedule allows.
