About the Role:

We are seeking an Associate, Development Advisory, to support the East Team with project-related requirements, including research, project coordination, development project design, approvals, and construction delivery. The role involves keeping the team updated on policy changes, supporting document preparation, and maintaining organized project files.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting project completion from feasibility to closeout.
  2. Generating project plans, schedules, budgets, and fostering client relationships.
  3. Managing project deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  4. Assisting in preparing reports, correspondence, site inspection reports, and presentations.
  5. Coordinating procurement of design consultants within budgets.
  6. Tracking development schedules and milestones.
  7. Supporting the analysis and pro-forma development with the analyst and accounting teams.
  8. Contributing to project reporting, submissions, and daily tasks.
  9. Maintaining meeting records and stakeholder communications.
  10. Assisting with design review and providing feedback to architects, considering costs and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or Land Economics.
  • 1-3 years of relevant development experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and planning processes.
  • Industry network within commercial real estate is a plus.
