Arobas Personnel is looking for a Developer, SAP ABAP for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy robust SAP solutions in line with established development standards.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and performance.
• Provide technical expertise during the implementation of SAP projects.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to ensure system traceability and knowledge transfer.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in ABAP programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of programming principles and best practices.
• Proven experience with database optimization and technologies such as HANA, CDS Views, and OData.
• Proficiency in key SAP development areas:
  • S/4 HANA, ABAP OO
  • Reporting: SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, Selection screens
  • Extensions: BADI, User Exits, BTE
  • Interfaces: IDoc, BAPI, Web Services, Proxies

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform services and cloud development tools.
• Experience working with modern agile or DevOps environments.
