About The Role

In this role, you will join the Chainlink Developer Relations Engineering team. You will create and maintain developer tools, code artifacts, sample and demo applications, and guides to enhance the developer experience for a growing community. Your engineering craftsmanship and technical content will drive successful outcomes for developers building on Chainlink. You will also help grow the Chainlink brand as a leading developer platform for blockchain engineering. The role includes developer education and evangelism, ideal for those wanting to grow as engineers while developing communication, collaboration, and product skills.

Your Impact

1. Build and maintain software tools that significantly enhance developer experience
2. Create demos and use cases for product launches, upgrades, and partnerships
3. Represent Chainlink at global events and design technical workshops for partners
4. Provide feedback to product teams to improve community engagement and usability
5. Publish technical content to excite and educate developers
6. Lead developer events to foster community growth

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including roles like DevRel engineer or technical architect; experience building dev tools or SDKs is a plus
• Production coding experience, preferably full stack with TypeScript; Solidity experience is highly regarded, and familiarity with Solana is a bonus
• Passion for improving developer experience, engineering, problem solving, and product development
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and autonomous working skills
• Genuine interest in blockchain technology and its potential

Preferred Requirements

• Experience or interest in Product Design, UX, and Developer Experience
• Public speaking skills and comfort coding in front of audiences
• Strong technical writing skills for clear communication of complex ideas
• Active social media presence, especially on Twitter, engaging with developer communities
• Passion for educating developers about blockchain
• Flexibility to work in a startup environment and willingness to travel and work irregular hours

All roles are global and remote, with some overlap with EST preferred.
