Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

The Cloud Centre of Excellence is responsible for delivering modern cloud services, applications, and managed services supporting our internal workforce and client delivery teams. The CCoE DevOps Developer will play a key role in automating DevOps processes across various platforms and solutions.

Your role involves experimenting with emerging technologies, prototyping, and building proofs of concept (POCs) with our business partners. You will contribute to developing core assets and assist the business in adopting the platform for various functions and client-facing applications.

This position can be performed remotely.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy core DevOps assets, tools, applications, and services.
  • Implement and govern monitoring, alerting, and dashboards related to the platform; collaborate with ITS OPS to define operational and support requirements.
  • Focus on DevOps for modern web applications and cloud services.
  • Innovate, experiment, and develop POCs with modern cloud-native DevOps stacks.
  • Guide and instruct business teams in platform adoption; document technical solutions as needed.
  • Ensure operational excellence, security, and compliance by collaborating with security, OPS, and architecture teams.

What You Bring To The Role

  • University degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on DevOps CI / CD experience, including :
  • Automating builds, releases, and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI, Azure ADO).
  • Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of cloud native application design on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with multi-tier cloud architectures, Serverless, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security tools.
  • Designing and governing monitoring tools, dashboards, and CLIs.
  • Source code management and Git branching strategies.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses. Salary depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
