We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst / BI Developer with strong coding capabilities and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. If you're experienced in SQL, Python, and modern data tools—and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—we’d love to hear from you.

Location : Toronto ON, Hybrid 2-Day Onsite

Status : Contract

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and enhance existing codebases using SQL, Python, Databricks, GitHub, and Copilot
  • Support and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution of defects
  • Refresh, publish, and manage Tableau and Power BI dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate report delivery
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines with a high level of quality and attention to detail

Support business-as-usual (BAU) dashboards and ad-hoc reporting needs for the client in the Business Banking Non-Journey segment, which includes :

  • Delivering insights on sales performance and other key metrics
  • Partnering with business teams on monthly adjustments and annual updates
  • Ensuring data accuracy and relevance in all reporting outputs

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks
  • Experience with GitHub and Copilot for version control and code assistance
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and / or Power BI, including dashboard maintenance and publishing
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen to engage effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Qualifications :

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Extensive experience working with large data sets
  • Financial sector experience is an asset
  • Applied knowledge of analysis and problem decomposition techniques
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including the ‘Feasibility,’ ‘Requirements,’ and ‘Analysis’ phases
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
