NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for a Developer Analyst who can start small and think BIG in the development, maintenance, and support of software applications and databases to make a lasting impact to NorQuest staff, learners, and partners.
Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Business Solutions, the Developer Analyst analyzes requirements, develops applications using coding languages, tests compatibility, successfully executes software development tasks, and maintains existing software and code. Working with business areas to understand requirements, the Developer Analyst will develop custom code to meet objectives. Research and creation of design documentation conducted throughout the software life cycle will help ensure proper continuity.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Consult with business areas for requirements gathering and design software and coding solutions in accordance with established processes, policies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Create, modify, maintain, test, and deploy application code with post-implementation testing.
- Communicate complex technical information with clients, vendors, and contractors involved with the design and implementation of technical solutions.
- Implement and configure custom built and / or packaged software to meet client requirements.
- Document software and testing specifications and requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain college reporting structures and tools.
- Ensure software, support, and design documentation is up-to-date on a regular basis in accordance with standards.
- Provide input into development, system changes, future enhancements, and system roadmaps.
- Participate in production system upgrades, including testing, development, and implementation.
- Provide support and troubleshooting expertise for a variety of applications, and coordinate problem resolution with impacted development and support teams.
- Follow IT Service Management best practices.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology related discipline such as Programming, Computing Science or Software Engineering.
- 1+ years’ experience as a Developer Analyst.

- Enthusiasm and self-direction to stay informed about trends and directions in information technology, data security and storage, and personal productivity.
SALARY : $2,285 - $2,929 biweekly ($59,415 - $76,165 annually) reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time cover-off position to September 30, 2024 and includes immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
