A leading company is seeking a Service Now Developer for a critical transformation project in Toronto. The candidate will be responsible for migrating service catalogs and leveraging best practices within the ServiceNow platform. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance technical skills and work on significant projects in a dynamic environment.

• This role is to have a Service Now developer help us in migrating our service catalog from our legacy ServiceNow instance to our re-platformed ServiceNow instance.
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a highly visible project and would get the chance to further enhance their skills with the ServiceNow platform.
• Analyse highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
• Works closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Involved in the full system lifecycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Champions in high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communications vision/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team
• 8+ years of experience as a IT Developer (must have hands on experience in working on the Service Now platform as a developer using ACL’s, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Rest and SOAP)
• 3+ years of development experience in ServiceNow with hands-on experience with Service Now troubleshooting and developing the solution within the ServiceNow platform.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
• ServiceNow Advanced System Administration certified, or training is a Must
• 3+ years of experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
• Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platforms
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
• Possess in depth knowledge of single large or multiple small applications
• Ability to work on systems integration projects
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
• ITIL Foundation certification or training
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills to work on multiple assignment
• Ability to analyse complex situations.
• Ability to present to stakeholders.
• Is a good team player.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or experience in the related field
• ServiceNow admin, ITIL, training or certification
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow CAD or Service Catalogue and system integration is great to have. Experience in ServiceNow for more than 5 years and has worked on ServiceNow transformation project.
