Qualifications of a Detention Centre Security Guard

• Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
• Permanent Canadian resident for at least 5 years
• Clear criminal background
• Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance
• First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
