Job description

Job Summary

Car Detailer is responsible for providing quality automotive cleaning services to our customers, ensuring each vehicle is cleaned to the CARSTAR Gold Standard. Success in this role requires exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to quality workmanship. This full-time, permanent position reports to the Store Manager. Hours and compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Duties

• Clean automobile interiors and exteriors
• Protect and preserve vehicle exteriors by buffing, polishing, waxing, and applying preservatives
• Clean interiors by vacuuming, carpeting, cleaning ceilings, upholstery, and treating spots and stains
• Perform minor paint defect repairs as needed
• Conduct inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle condition
• Move, park, deliver vehicles, or transport customers as required
• Manage supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, and processing orders
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of detailing experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for long periods
• Willingness to adhere to company policies and uphold service standards
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
