Job summary

Bridges Chevrolet is seeking a Service Department Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

The position offers daily detailing tasks, training, and the chance to grow within a national dealership network. Compensation is hourly with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Interest in automotive industry; knowledgeable about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools; power washers is a plus.
• Dependable with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and using power tools/hand-held equipment.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Detail interior and exterior of customer vehicles to dealership standards.
• Perform general detailing tasks including vacuuming, deodorizing, washing.
• Ensure exteriors are clean and smudge-free.
• Detail interiors, wipe dashboards, vacuum, and clean floor mats.
• Apply paint sealant and polish wheels/ Rims.
• Use hand-held tools for interior/exterior detailing.
• Notify supervisor when parts need repair or replacement.
• Complete quality control checklist.
• Perform other repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Service Department Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
• Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
• Apply paint sealant
• Clean and polish wheels and rims
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
• Complete quality control checklist
• Perform other repair duties as required

What are the must-haves…

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $18 – $19 Hourly — No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
