Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass in Edmonton is seeking a Detailer to pre-wash vehicles and prep them for production. You will meticulously clean and detail all assigned vehicles before final delivery to customers.

This role supports the WOW plan, requires high attention to detail, and offers competitive hourly pay with an emphasis on training and career growth in a collaborative shop environment. Valid driver’s license is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting is

• Maintain a clean and organized parking lot and shop floor.
• Support WOW plan to ensure quality and productivity standards.

The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesCleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipmentPolish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior bodyProtects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxesVacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)Shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containersMaintain a clean and organized parking lot at all timesPower wash the shop floor, (to reduce appearance of dirt) as requiredMaintain and organize the vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO Signs)Responsible for the consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
