Job Description

The Detailer’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle detailing to ensure a positive first impression upon delivery. Responsibilities include pre-washing vehicles, cleaning and detailing all assigned vehicles before final delivery, and maintaining cleanliness in the repair facility. The Detailer also supports the team in achieving KPIs and acts as a Brand Ambassador of Boyd Autobody & Glass.

Roles and Requirements

• Provide positive energy when interacting with customers
• Clean vehicle exterior and interior thoroughly
• Protect and preserve vehicle exterior with buffing, polishing, and waxing
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and document damages
• Ensure all repair line items are completed to quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in safety and training sessions
• Support team members and adhere to safety guidelines
• Maintain vehicle and tool inventory
• Follow all policies and procedures, including hazardous waste disposal
• Contribute to achieving company KPIs and uphold core values

Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid G class driver’s license
• Own tools required
