Job summary

ReCar Fredericton is seeking a motivated Vehicle Detailer to professionally clean and prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery and showroom presentation. You will work closely with Sales, Service, and Operations to ensure every vehicle meets dealership standards and looks its absolute best.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors with precision and care.
• Wash, vacuum, shampoo, polish, wax, buff, and perform paint enhancement.
• Perform wet-sanding and other paint correction techniques as required.
• Apply paint, fabric, leather protection, and undercoating products.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure dealership quality standards.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, showroom presentation, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Operations teams to support readiness and daily goals.
• Maintain detailing equipment, tools, and work areas safely and efficiently.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Keep the detailing area clean, organized, and professional.
• Take ownership of the quality and timeliness of each vehicle.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and embrace ongoing learning.

What You'll Do

As a Vehicle Detailer, you'll ensure every new and pre-owned vehicle is professionally cleaned, protected, and delivery-ready, helping create exceptional first impressions for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors with precision and care
• Washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, waxing, buffing, and performing paint enhancement
• Performing wet-sanding and other paint correction techniques as required
• Applying paint, fabric, leather protection, and undercoating products
• Inspecting completed vehicles to ensure dealership quality standards are consistently met
• Preparing vehicles for customer delivery, showroom presentation, and sales activities
• Working closely with the Sales, Service, and Operations teams to support vehicle readiness and daily production goals
• Maintaining detailing equipment, tools, and work areas safely and efficiently
• Safely handling automotive chemicals, protective products, and equipment in accordance with workplace safety requirements
• Following all workplace health, safety, environmental, dealership, and manufacturer procedures
• Keeping the detailing area clean, organized, and professional
• Taking ownership of the quality and timeliness of each vehicle
• Contributing to a positive team environment and embracing continuous learning and feedback
• Assisting with additional sales-related tasks as required
