Job summary

Like New Car Care in Campbell River, BC, is seeking an Experienced Automotive Detailer to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for new and used vehicles.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years of professional detailing experience, work efficiently in a fast-paced shop, and collaborate with sales and service teams while following safety procedures. Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00, benefits offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail interiors and exteriors of vehicles to meet high standards.
• Wash, wax, vacuum, shampoo, and polish vehicles with approved products.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure dealership and manufacturer standards are met.
• Move vehicles safely around lots and delivery bays.
• Keep detailing area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Report vehicle damage or concerns to management promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment as required.
• Prepare vehicles for customer deliveries and handovers, presentation-ready.
• Assist with staging, organizing, and moving vehicles as needed.

The Role

As an Automotive Detailer, you’ll clean, polish, and prepare new, used, and customer vehicles to meet our high standards for quality and appearance. You’ll support both the Sales and Service departments by ensuring every vehicle is spotless, polished, and ready to impress.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and professionally detail the interiors and exteriors of new, used, and customer vehicles.
• Wash, wax, vacuum, shampoo, and polish vehicles using approved products and techniques.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Safely move vehicles throughout the lot, service area, and delivery bays.
• Keep the detailing area, tools, products, and equipment clean and organized.
• Report vehicle damage, defects, or concerns to the manager promptly.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
• Prepare vehicles for customer deliveries and handovers, ensuring they are spotless and presentation-ready.
• Assist with staging, organizing, and moving vehicles as needed.
