Job Description

T&T Honda is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Detail Manager to oversee our dealership's detailing operations! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the detail department, ensuring that all vehicles are properly cleaned, detailed, and prepared for delivery to customers. The Detail Manager will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Management: Oversee the daily operations of the detail department, including scheduling, workflow, and personnel management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all vehicles meet the dealership's quality standards, including cleanliness, detailing, and cosmetic appearance.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all vehicles are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of detailers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate inventory levels of detailing supplies and materials.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage departmental expenses, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the detail department is a safe and healthy work environment, complying with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve departmental processes, efficiency, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a detail management or supervisory role, preferably in an automotive dealership environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of detailing techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and dealership software.
