Job description

Deskside Support Technician (Wednesdays Only)

We are looking for a Deskside Support Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. This role will serve as the primary contact for hands-on technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for on-site and remote users.
  • Manage and resolve service requests and escalated IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Document issues, solutions, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the office for proactive support.
  • Log, track, and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents.

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT support (onsite & remote troubleshooting).
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple service requests efficiently.
  • Strong customer service approach with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Ability to troubleshoot teleconference and AV equipment.
  • Familiarity with server room operations (hardware maintenance & uptime).
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $18.16-$25.00 per hour
