Position Overview:

  • Term: 12+ months
  • Location: Kitchener, ON N2G 1Y6
  • Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Hours: Standard business hours

Role Responsibilities: In this role, you will onboard new users, support existing users, and troubleshoot hardware/software and permissions issues.

What you'll do as the Desktop Support Technician:

  • Onboard new users by setting up hardware and assisting with initial login and network access.
  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure such as shared printers and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Support desks and shared workstations setup.
  • Provide onsite support for user issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Support AV and conference room systems, including Zoom Room and GVC, during meetings.
  • Maintain the onsite Tech Bar and troubleshoot various hardware, software, and access issues.

  • Hands-on experience providing end-user support.
  • Experience with AV setups and conference room technology, including Zoom Room and GVC.
