Job Description (JD): Desk Side Support – Band 2
Department: Onsite Support Services
Role: FSO L2
Technical Responsibilities:
Desktop/laptop troubleshooting and support
Installation, configuration, OS troubleshooting
Application support and basic network troubleshooting
iPhone configuration
Asset management and inventory handling
Incident/service request handling via ServiceNow
OS/software/driver installation and updates
Remote support and Microsoft Excel reporting
Hardware asset lifecycle management
Support for network/printer/firewall activities
Handling smart hands, QA testing, packaging/unboxing laptops
Equipment movement, disposal, and stockroom management
Monthly/weekly inventory audits and threshold stock ordering
Escorting third-party engineers and coordinating with vendors
Manufacturing & Production line IT support experience preferred
Small data center/server rack handling exposure
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and customer handling skills
Ability to manage onsite SLAs and ticket escalations
Flexibility for urgent site issues
Strong documentation and reporting discipline
Experience in client interaction (email/verbal)
