What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for a Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Research trends, colors, and create mood boards.
2. Create detailed technical drawings and color CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
3. Create styles and tech packs in PLM.
4. Assist with sampling and communicate daily with vendors regarding sample status.
5. Document all sample information, including quantities and shipment details.
6. Organize and file samples.
7. Work on proto comments, fabric/lab dips approval.
8. Prepare samples for buyer meetings and presentations.
9. Send samples to vendors and sales teams.
10. Assist the team with related tasks as needed.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• Highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of the apparel industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in menswear.
• Bilingual in French and English; English proficiency is essential for communication with overseas factories and clients outside Quebec.
• Diploma in fashion design is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of PLM is an asset.
• Experience in creating technical drawings.
