Insight Global seeks a senior software architect to design scalable enterprise applications using Java/Spring Boot microservices. You will lead service-to-service communication, API-first patterns, and cloud-native deployment, while ensuring security, observability, and performance.

You will mentor developers, align with architecture and product teams, and explore AI integration into APIs and workflows. Strong backend and front-end architecture experience, plus banking/financial domain

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java/Spring Boot architecture and microservices design.
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions across front end, APIs, microservices and integrations.
• Experience with REST APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture and API security.

Responsabilités

• Design scalable enterprise applications across back-end services, APIs, integrations, and front-end layers.
• Lead the design of Java/Spring Boot microservices and service-to-service communication.
• Define front-end architecture, application structure, integration patterns, and interaction with back-end APIs.
• Establish API-first design principles and reusable integration patterns.
• Design event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Make architectural decisions around scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction to developers and review solution designs.
• Work with architecture, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify where AI capabilities can be integrated into applications, APIs, and business workflows.
• Design solutions that support containerized and cloud-native deployment models.
• Incorporate authentication, authorization, API security, observability, logging, monitoring, and automated testing into application designs.
• Support CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise applications across back-end services, APIs, integrations, and front-end layers.
• Lead the design of Java/Spring Boot microservices and service-to-service communication.
• Define front-end architecture, application structure, integration patterns, and interaction with back-end APIs.
• Establish API-first design principles and reusable integration patterns.
• Design event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Make architectural decisions around scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and maintainability.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with Java/Spring Boot architecture and microservices design on the back-end .( most important)
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions across front end, APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Experience with REST APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, and API security within microservices based applications
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
• Understanding of scalability, resiliency, performance, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience providing technical design guidance to development teams.
• Understanding of AI and Generative AI, including integrating AI/LLMs into applications, APIs, and workflows.
• banking experience or understanding of financial applications
• Experience with front-end architecture and design, including React or Angular.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, and data privacy.
