Job summary

Cosmic is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Digital Designer with motion experience to join our Toronto team. You’ll collaborate with a creative group on a broad mix of projects spanning branding, social, web, and email campaigns. Strong layout, typography, and motion skills are essential, with bonus HTML skills welcomed.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment in Toronto’s King West area, with hybrid/on-site options and a focus on delivering on-brand visuals across channels.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional agency or studio experience (print and digital).
• Must be located within a commutable distance from Toronto.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Animate.
• Bonus points: basic HTML coding skills for emails and splash pages.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging motion graphics and animations for videos and social media.
• Craft visual assets for motion design, social media, online advertising, and email campaigns.
• Partner with the creative team to integrate motion graphics into projects.

Cosmic is looking for a talented Junior or Intermediate Digital Designer with motion experience to join our team.

As a Motion Designer at Cosmic, you will collaborate with our talented team of creatives on a diverse universe of projects. We touch almost every corner of advertising and creative services, including corporate branding, social media campaigns, email marketing, web/mobile development, traditional print media, videography, and even game/app development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional agency or studio experience (working across both print and digital mediums).
• Must be located a commutable Distance from Toronto
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Animate.
• Bonus Points: Basic HTML coding skills for emails, app messages, and splash pages are a major plus!
