What You'll Be Doing

As an integral member of Simplii Financial’s Experience and Design team, reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Experience and Design, the Designer, Core Applications, will craft exceptional user experiences for Simplii’s Core Applications and back-office tools used by contact centres and support teams. You will work closely with process engineering, development, and design teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and scalable solutions that empower employees and elevate client experiences. Using user research, data insights, and design thinking principles, you will streamline workflows, enhance usability, and create seamless experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

We offer a hybrid work environment, allowing you to manage your activities with 1 to 2 days on-site and the rest remote.

How You’ll Succeed
  • User experience design - Design user-centric solutions for Simplii Core Applications and back-office tools. Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and user flows; conduct usability testing; iterate designs based on feedback; ensure WCAG accessibility standards; work with the design system team to refine components; advocate for human-centered design.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Build relationships with process engineering, development, and design teams; incorporate user insights; deliver audience-first content.
  • Stakeholder management - Understand business needs; communicate effectively; build strong relationships; act as a trusted advisor; manage expectations and foster collaboration.
Who You Are
  • Degree or diploma in UX Design, HCI, or related field.
  • 4-6 years experience in UX/UI design for internal or enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud; strong understanding of user-centered, inclusive, and accessible design principles.
  • Experience designing for responsive web, iOS/Android patterns, and delivering impactful user experiences.
  • Attention to detail; ownership mindset; curiosity; organizational skills; adaptability to a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
  • Client-focused; committed to delivering value; aligned with company values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
