Job summary

Latham Pool Products in Canada is seeking a Designer to produce Level A and B drawings for pool projects, using AutoCAD with our custom Latham Panel Software. You will create production-ready files and collaborate with production and dealers to meet customer needs.

This remote, full-time role requires a high school diploma, design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of ANSI/APSP/ICC-5 standards is helpful. Join a growing team focused on quality and innovation in pool solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in a design or related field; swimming pool industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/CAD software.
• Strong math, data-entry, customer service, interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

A little about the position

Job Summary

The Designer is responsible for completing Level A and Level B drawings/designs in one design category. This may include creating approval drawings and workable files for production as well creating blueprint layouts for new pools.

Some of What You Will Do

• Create working and presentation drawings for dealer/production purposes
• Use custom Latham Panel Software built within AutoCAD software
• Ensure criteria is met for each drawing/design based on customer needs and preferences

This includes:

• Identifying compliance concerns in accordance with ANSI/APSP/ICC-5 and ISPSC
• Correct product types used on drawing
• Upload files to the Pool Kit Configurator for entry (panel specific)
• Responsible for accessing electronic Request Center Design queue, identify and assign appropriate orders and complete assignment. Post upload of completed design package, submit to Quality Review
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a related field preferred
• Experience in a design or a related field; previous experience in swimming pool industry an asset
• Proficient in current AutoCAD/CAD software
• Strong math, data-entry, customer service, interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Range: $26.26 - $27.58 per hour

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
