Rowland Parker & Associates LLP is looking to fill the following positions.
All candidates must be able to work in a fully computer-based environment.
DESIGNATED SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Experience with an accounting firm in public practice is preferred but not essential. With our in-house training, successful candidates will be expected to become proficient in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, preparing corporate year-end financial statements on a Compilation and Review Engagement basis, and providing mentoring to staff members within the office. As our office is equipped for remote access and virtual collaboration, there is an opportunity to work remotely on a hybrid basis depending on your level of experience in a public accounting firm.
CPA ARTICLING STUDENT
Our office will work with the student to give them the experience they require to successfully complete the CPA program and obtain the required articling hours. With our in-house training, the student will become proficient in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, and experienced with review and auditing standards.
ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
Experience with an accounting firm in public practice is preferred but not essential. With our in-house training, successful candidates will be expected to become proficient in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, and preparing corporate year-end financial statements. Bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required. As our office is equipped for remote access and virtual collaboration, there is an opportunity to work remotely on a hybrid basis depending on your level of experience in a public accounting firm.
