Join our team to manage design guidelines for a Financial Services client…
As a Design Standards Manager, you'll be at the forefront of creating exceptional customer experiences through innovative design. You'll develop and govern comprehensive retail design guidelines for our client's branch portfolio across the US and Canada, directly supporting their vision, strategy, and customer engagement objectives.
Maintain and facilitate the use of an interactive online portal of design guidelines and standards.
Research and source new or alternative products to use in exterior and interior applications.
Organize development for FF&E initiatives to continue improvement of design standards.
Collaborate with Design Management team, Project Managers, Facilities Managers, vendors, suppliers, third-party designers, and architects.
Develop professionally polished presentation materials and confidently present design updates to multiple levels of individuals.
Support real estate strategy and workplace/retail design activities across multiple project sites.
Bring thoughtful leadership to the role while driving continuous improvement of the program.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Design, or related field
5-7 years of experience in a corporate environment
Strong background in Workplace and/or Retail Design with knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Experience in strategic space/occupancy planning and interior office renovations
Preferred: LEED Accreditation Professional and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Advanced-level Microsoft Office Suite skills with ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, calculations), AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
Understanding of spatial relationships, workplace guidelines, and basic building codes
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interact at all organizational levels
Strong project management abilities with proven multitasking and deadline management skills
Analytical mindset with ability to ask the right questions and develop innovative solutions
Collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders
