Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level DRE Battery Pack and Base Engine to join us! You'll be at the forefront of automotive innovation, focusing on the integration and development of battery packs and base engines. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex testing scenarios, and ensure the highest standards of design and functionality. Your expertise will drive the success of new vehicle programs, from initial concept through to production.

Missions:

  • Lead on-site and remote support for battery pack and engine activities, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Coordinate comprehensive vehicle and laboratory testing, focusing on proving grounds and component analysis.
  • Facilitate the design and development process, interfacing with cross-functional teams to meet stringent design requirements.
  • Manage the lifecycle of design components, from early CAD development to manufacturing, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Spearhead the creation and management of critical design documents such as DFMEA, DVPR, and FMEA, ensuring all functional objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct cost-value analyses, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and hardware designs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to program objectives.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, presenting action plans and addressing risks to maintain project momentum.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts, addressing pre-production, production, and post-launch component issues.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in CAD and 2D drawing creation, with a thorough understanding of GD&T.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturing processes and assembly coordination.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing cross-functional projects and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Experience with Change Management processes and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and suppliers to resolve complex issues.
  • Educational background in engineering, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being an advantage.
