Job Description

We are seeking a talented Design & SketchUp Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, proficiency in SketchUp software, and the ability to follow design direction while also sourcing materials for interior design projects. This role plays a vital part in the creative process, bringing concepts to life through 3D modeling and material selection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D models using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
  • Work closely with the president and projects team to translate ideas into accurate and functional renderings.
  • Follow design direction and adapt models based on feedback.
  • Source and recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings to align with project goals.
  • Assist in interior design decision-making by researching trends, suppliers, and sustainable options.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain an organized digital library of design assets and materials.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in SketchUp is required; experience with rendering software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles and material selection.
  • Ability to interpret design briefs and produce compelling 3D visualizations.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for aesthetics and functionality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign) is an asset but not required.
