Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa, ON is seeking a full-time Veterinary Dermatologist who is board-certified (ACVD) or eligible for licensing in Ontario. Join a busy multidisciplinary hospital with 24-hour emergency service and a team of skilled specialists.

Dermatologist Location: Ottawa, ON Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $250,000 Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is welcoming a full-time permanent Board-eligible or Board-certified Veterinary Dermatologist to join our specialty team. We are a busy and growing multidisciplinary hospital with a 24-hour Permanent Emergency Service, General Practice, and a team of six experienced specialists, including Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology and Ophthalmology.

Qualifications

• A valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada.
• Candidates must be board-certified (ACVD) A license in Ontario or eligibility to be licensed with the CVO.
• Leadership skills combined with a team player attitude enable our teams to flourish.
• Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills with expertise in ventilation.
• Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients.
• Organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure.
• The drive and ability to help train and mentor interns and technicians.

A full suite of on-site diagnostic imaging includes a Toshiba Aquilion 64 slice CT, .25T Vet MR MRI, Pulsera Fluoroscopy unit, Philips ultrasound and echocardiogram, Karl Storz endoscope and two Sound digital radiograph suites.
