Deputy Supervisor-Testing Integrity - Downsview - Full Time- Perm - Non Bilingual

Join Serco as a Deputy Supervisor-Testing Integrity at Downsview. We support operations across Ontario's DriveTest Centers on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation. If you enjoy working with the public in a high-energy environment, this role offers challenging and rewarding opportunities.

Summary:

  • Oversee compliance and fraud/risk mitigation at DriveTest Centres across Ontario.
  • Support confidential investigations into fraud and unethical activities alongside the Business Integrity Manager.
  • Supervise adherence to company guidelines ensuring business integrity.
  • Monitor compliance of Driver Examiners and Driving Instructors.
  • Identify risks and work with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and standards, including MTO standards, Code of Conduct, and Serco policies.
  • Meet project KPIs and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance and detect fraud or unethical activities.
  • Review reports, conduct audits, and perform data analytics to identify anomalies.
  • Mitigate liabilities through fraud prevention strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on initiatives and projects.
  • Manage and direct subordinate staff, ensuring performance and timely reporting.
  • Communicate business objectives and demonstrate Serco values.

Health & Safety & Environmental:

  • Ensure safety and compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Implement safety plans and have authority to stop work if necessary.

Additional Details:

  • Reliable vehicle required; travel estimated at 25% across Ontario.
  • Generally Monday to Friday; occasional Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • 3-5+ years leadership experience, supervisory background, experience in fraud mitigation, and understanding of contracts and risk assessment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Pass Criminal Record Check and fingerprinting.
