The Position:
The position is full-time, with the successful applicant fulfilling an important executive role, together with the principal, in the formation of St Padre Pio as a new school. The Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching Leader, is a key member of the school’s Leadership Team and is responsible for leading and enhancing high-quality teaching and learning across the school. This role supports the Principal in the strategic and operational leadership of the school, with a specific focus on curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and professional learning.
It is important to note that initially the position will most probably include teaching hours. As we grow the role will evolve and become exclusively the Deputy Principal.
The position is advertised as a three-year appointment beginning January 27th 2026, whereby the position will be re-advertised, with the applicant being able to reapply if needed.
