Worley is seeking a practical, field-focused Deputy HSE Manager to support our Canada Construction business. This role acts as the second-in-command to the HSE Manager and helps translate HSE expectations into clear, disciplined execution across construction projects and active work fronts. You will work closely with project leaders, construction managers, supervisors, contractors and HSE Advisors to ensure work is planned, risks are understood, critical controls are verified, and teams have the support needed to deliver safely and effectively.
This role requires a strategic leader who can anticipate risk, influence project outcomes, build high-performing teams, and drive a proactive safety culture across multiple construction environments. The successful candidate will be agile, resilient, and motivated by continuous improvement, operational excellence, and visible field leadership.
You are an experienced, energetic and highly motivated HSE leader who thrives in dynamic construction environments. You combine field credibility with strategic thinking and is comfortable influencing decisions at all levels of an organization. You can rapidly assess changing situations, adapt priorities, and lead teams through complex challenges while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational performance and continuous improvement. You balance coaching with accountability and understand how to support project delivery without compromising safety.
