  • Providing accurate financial information to senior leadership in a timely manner.
  • Offering strategic leadership and advice to Finance Managers.
  • Mentoring staff to foster development, innovation, and process improvement.
  • Promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.

Reporting to the City Treasurer & Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the Deputy Director is responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of 7 Finance Divisions, aligned with Corporate Strategy and Department objectives. The Deputy Director will lead Finance Managers in ensuring the effective operation and continuous improvement of accounting and financial systems, achieving long-term budgets, and managing assets, reserves, and debt. Key duties include:

Compensation: Level M4, $187,800 - $234,700 per annum
