Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Parmedicine, Health Care Administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive management experience in a paramedic or health care leadership role.
• Current Paramedic certification is an asset.
• Strong leadership and performance management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, building accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee deployment, scheduling, vehicle assignments and resources for service delivery.
• Monitor system performance and identify trends for improvement.
• Ensure operations comply with legislation, standards and city procedures.
• Support budget planning and recommendations for operational needs and expenditures.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations.
