Internal Job Title : Deputy Branch Manager (Business Development)

Location : GTA

Report to : Branch Manager

Position Available : 2

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Branch Manager in branch management and be in charge of the business development of the Branch.
  • Lead your team to achieve the goals of growing sales, revenue and market share as assigned by the Branch and the Bank.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and product enhancements of existing client business, and actively seek and approach prospective applicants.
  • Support preparation and execution of social events and marketing campaigns, including deliver presentations to clients, as needed
  • Represents the Bank in various community and social events to further enhance the Bank’s image, develop business and meet the needs of community.
  • Coach, supervise and motivate your team and ensure high employee engagement through talent management, training and development and career planning.
  • Ensuring the full compliance with internal and external rules and regulations, and take appropriate actions to close related gaps identified.

Job Specifications

  • Minimum 5 years of business banking experience with solid knowledge in Commercial Lending.
  • Minimum 2 years in people management role
  • Experience both in Business Banking and Personal Banking is an asset.
  • Relevant post-secondary education with Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Accounting ,Finance or Economics;
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (or Cantonese) Chinese is essential
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Ability to use related IT systems and employ digital channels.
