Deployment Project Manager
Location: Vancouver, Ontario, Canada (onsite)

Job Description :
- Responsible for all Solutions Deployment scope on a given project.
- Organize the deployment work with SD Team Leaders, the SMO, and the project team.
- Reconcile bottom-up SD planning inputs from Team Leaders with top-down planning requirements from the Project Manager.
- Define project work with the Team Leaders, including setting priorities for review.
- Maintain good working relationships and team building among SD and non-SD team members.
- Coordinate with PPM / APM to expedite the acquisition process and reduce risks.
- Plan and conduct Deployment Reviews with internal teams and customers.
- Ensure proper conduct of cost and schedule trade-off analyses.
- Approve site test and acceptance activities when required due to T&C Manager absence.
- Collaborate with the Bid Team to create the Deployment Management Plan.
- Identify and manage SD project risks.
- Provide regular DPM reports to Senior Management.
- Ensure infrastructure design complies with contracts, supports budgets and schedules, and aligns with migration strategies.
- Identify and resolve SD risks early to avoid cost and schedule impacts.
- Promote interdepartmental communication for accurate information flow.
- Define SD work scope for projects.
- Foster an integrated team environment among internal and external SD disciplines, ensuring compliance with Chorus processes and procedures.
Educational & Experience Background :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science.
- Over 10 years of experience in design and deployment projects.
- Logical problem-solving skills.
- Persuasive and calm under pressure.
- Ability to motivate teams and deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of desktop publishing software (MS Suite, Visio, DOORS, Adobe Acrobat, JIRA, etc.).
- Sufficient understanding of international relations and related requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Strong language and communication skills.
- Experience in P&L management.
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Bid management experience.
- Technical knowledge in system engineering, hardware/software safety design, etc.
- Experience with site mobility tools for installation, testing, and commissioning is a plus.
