Position Summary:

Responsibilities include hosting and facilitating discussions with small groups of students; grading of some assignments; attending lectures and reading course materials; communication with students regarding MyCourses, submission of assignments, etc.

Qualifications:

Positions only available to McGill graduate student with appropriate academic background. Previous study in the subject of the course.

  • PHIL 201 Into to Philosophy – Prof. Weinstock – 2.5 positions of 180 hours
  • PHIL 237 Contemporary Moral Issues – Prof. Leary – 4 positions of 180 hours
  • PHIL 240 Political Philosophy 1 – Prof. Sharp – 1.5 positions of 180 hours
  • PHIL 306 Philosophy of the Mind – Prof. Gold – 1 position of 180 hours
  • PHIL 334 Ethical Theory – Prof. TBA – 1 position of 180 hours
  • PHIL 348 Philosophy of Law – Prof. Stolijar – 1.5 positions of 180 hours
  • PHIL 474 Phenomenology – Prof. Buckley – 1 position of 180 hours
Compensation and Details:

Hourly Salary: $37.34

Total Hours of Work per Term: 180 or 90 depending on assignment
