What might a typical day look like?

As a department manager, you will have to:

1. Perform various management activities within your department;
2. Define objectives and clearly communicate expectations to your team while providing feedback for continuous improvement and coaching them to achieve results;
3. Ensure the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
4. Apply and respect the budgets related to your department.
