RONA in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead a department and drive customer service excellence. You will supervise staff, coordinate merchandising, manage schedules, and implement promotional activities while ensuring budget alignment and store profitability.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of personnel management experience in retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements.
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
