Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Department Manager, the Department Assistant is the first point of contact for the department and represents the department by interacting knowledgeably and courteously with a variety of individuals. The Department Assistant is responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies; coordinating equipment and space repairs; maintaining department directories and databases; handling mail and deliveries; ensuring conference and seminar rooms, lounges, student spaces and archive rooms are kept in good order; managing access control for the department; providing support and coordination for department meetings, seminars and other events and updating leadership calendars as required.
