Job summary

GTR Worldwide, a Canadian immigration, recruitment, and settlement company, is recruiting a dentist to provide comprehensive dental care across the lifespan. You will diagnose, treat, and prevent dental disease and work with the dental team to maintain high clinical standards and patient comfort.

The role requires DDS or DMD with current licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and proficiency in digital radiography and EHRs.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution.
• Current registration and license to practice dentistry with the applicable provincial or territorial regulatory authority.
• Clinical experience in general dentistry; recent graduates meeting licensing requirements considered.
• Certification in BLS or CPR and familiarity with dental emergency protocols.
• Experience using dental software, digital radiography, and EHRs.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions; develop treatment plans.
• Perform restorative procedures: fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions.
• Administer local anesthesia and manage acute pain and infections.
• Interpret radiographs and other tests; maintain patient records.
• Provide oral health education and preventive care guidance.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and external specialists; ensure infection control.
