Job summary

Proto3000 is seeking a part-time Dental Technologist to join our Vaughan team. The role focuses on orthodontic RPD frameworks, SLM and resin printing operations, and ensuring quality finish across metal printing processes.

Based in Vaughan, the candidate will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where adaptability, technical competence, and hands-on contributions are valued. Training and growth opportunities are available in a cutting-edge additive manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or working toward it in dental field or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
• Experience in dental/ortho laboratory environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, nest, operate, and oversee metal and SLM printing apparatus.
• Manufacture and finish orthodontic frames and bands (RPD frameworks).
• Maintain and monitor printing equipment and QA processes.

Orthodontic Frames and Bands

• Metal, print, trim & polish orthodontic RPD frameworks

SLM & Resin Printing & Operations

• Set up, nest, operate, and oversee metal and SLM printing apparatus.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary education or working towards, preferably in the dental field or equivalent experience
• Positive attitude oriented towards Problem Solving
• Expertise with computers, IT, MS Windows and Google Workspace Apps
• Experience working in a dental / ortho laboratory, dentures is an asset
