Job summary

Somba Ke Family Dental in Yellowknife is seeking a dental laboratory technician to join our team. You will fabricate and modify full and partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, and related devices in a fast-paced clinic laboratory.

Expect 40 hours per week in a full-time role, performing tasks from denture fabrication to polishing, with work conducted in English. Prior dental laboratory experience preferred, with a College/CEGEP diploma in dental technology.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dental laboratory experience.
• College/CEGEP diploma in dental technology.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in English.

Responsibilities

• Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands.
• Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory.
• Maintain and order supplies.
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
• Polish and buff dentures.
