Job summary

Hallmark Dental Laboratory in Nova Scotia seeks a confident and creative Dental Ceramist Technician to join our growing team. You will construct dental prosthetics and fabricate metal, zirconia and emax components.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of dental ceramics experience, a degree in dental technology preferred, and strong attention to detail. We offer health and dental insurance, paid time off, and an optional pension program. Hours are Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm, in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities

• Polishing dental prostheses and dental devices.
• Zirconia stain and glaze.
• Fabricating metal framework.
• Waxing and casting gold crowns, PFM and metal bridges.
• Layering on metal frame and zirconia frame.
• Gingival ceramics.
• Constructing prostheses and devices for clients by replacing wax with adequate dental materials.
• Making adjustments and color corrections for prosthetic teeth.
• Replacing natural teeth by fabricating prosthetic teeth.
• Restoring teeth by fabricating crowns and dental implants.
• Keeping up to date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field.

Dental Ceramist Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
